Mendenhall and Mike Williams for Moss and Stewart

I'm in a .5 points per reception league and was recently offered Randy Moss and Jonathan Stewart for Rashard Mendenhall and MIke Williams (Tampa Bay). While Stewart and Moss have underperformed so far this year I still am leaning towards doing this trade. Do you think it would be a good trade for me?

It all depends on what the rest of your team looks like.

All other things equal...

In a vacuum, it's pretty equal, IMO. You're getting about the same point production over baseline between Mendenhall and Moss while the other two players are about replacement level.

So it depends on team composition.

I usually agree with Tally though I am concerned about Moss's performance over baseline given his contract situation and the fact that NE seems to be becoming more like a Sean Payton team on offense.

I'm also concerned, obviously, so I'm basing this a lot on what KUBIAK thinks. The primary driver in the OP's case is really team needs, as I alluded to. It's basically RB1 for WR1, which usually favors RB1, but if you're pretty good at RB and WR is a position of need, it's a fair trade.
